Today probably wasn't the best of days..Hopefully the rest of the holidays will pick up! And that i won't be spending the whole holidays doing homework. (please) Looking forward to seeing 402 people on sunday again <3 Feeling rather pooped after the March camp, chasing after kids all day.

Anyway happy birthday to yuying heh. (: And also to qianwen whose birthday is tmr haha. (: Talentime on Sat was fine. Though it got slightly boring at times when people whom i'm not particularly interested in performed heh. Congrats to the winners :D (feli!) And i saw debi, really surprisingly. Haven't seen her since 12371928310293812 years ago hahaha.

hello this week was a week filled of tests and returning of tests of which i just failed/passed except for econs. econs is straightforward for now anyway. okay im going to try much much harder for the next few tests sigh i shouldnt take things for granted and assume that things would be like nanyang where passing is a given. ):

ANYWAY im going for talentime tmr to support both pikachu and felisa. haha (: the coming march hols do not seem very particularly relaxing with the influx of hwk and projects. just stuff that seem to take up too much time.

Oh we celebrated yuying's and huiqing's birthday today at class bench and made a hell lot of noise by singing the birthday song twice and NOT thrice with 2 noisemakers screaming haha. the cake was nice with the cocoa/coffee powder on it yum yum. but really sorry to the physics students taking the test :/ (though i don't really care much about the teacher lol)

i just signed up/indicated interest for sabbaticals, some of the courses are really quite interesting (: not like nanyang's so boring HAHA. okay shall go now its a new day! :O i shall sleep in today (:

I feel cheated..! Went for SAGE presentation in the morning and mel had to point out that we wasted like 5 hours of our life doing nothing. Sigh but at least there was one thing which made it a little better LOL. though mel might think its alot better hehe(: Quite fun chatting with mel and sitong again hahaha not alot of chances to talk like before.. haha.

~~I'm annoyed that I cannot find the binomial expansion supplementary ex.. did they remove it?~~ (yay thanks mel) sigh I shall do the other practice first then. And mug bio (utterly horrible and miserable). maybe i shall memorize the parts which are easier first. Like the microscopy part since the amount of info is less.

Anyway i haven't had a weekend that was free since idk.. school started? Haha. sigh now that i think of it, ny seems much more relaxed. Though it didn't seem like it at the time. Okay i really should go now sigh! can't wait till next week when bio test is over.

APOLLO!!!<3
Haha we won fac dance last night! Really really high. Actually i thought Ares did stand a good chance of winning too. The front part with the gloves was really nice. Haha. good job to all (: Anyway after POP (post orientation party) we had CT dinner (macs!)! HAHA we sat at the clock tower place to eat while the guys told us some weird ghost stories of which some were quite lame haha. But some were kinda creepy la. Haha. Anyway we originally wanted to eat near the Tan Kah Kee Statue but they didn't want to cos they said it was haunted -.- Yep. Too bad i had to go at 10 though. But i think alot of ppl also left soon after.

Anyway I have like quite alot of hwk for the weekend. D: But i did econs tutorial, bio tutorial which are the pressing issues. Still trying to think of sth for SAGE ): ARGH. Haha later gonna have STJ at fish and co. But apparently there's another class. -.- hopefully we won't have to wait too long.. Supposed to get a present for my angel and mortal. But i don't really know what to get actually. D:

HELLO first week of school is over! i think i should just accept the fact that i won't ever reach home at 3pm ever again on a weekday for the next 2 years with the exception of holidays. Then again holidays will probably be busy too haha. Hmm so far getting used to tutorials and lectures.. (: and i must must must remember to read up beforehand esp bio.

Hmmm i went for interact orientation yesterday. Actually it was more fun than i expected hahah. and we even created a group cheer and song hahaha. weilin's our I-group leader anyway.. i thought he was a girl at first D: yup.. and we ate really disgusting things like kickapoo+soy sauce and marshmellows+tomato sauce+ chilli sauce+ soy sauce. D:

Getting used to my class too.. everyone's nice and also likes to mug during break~ D: in a way this is positive peer pressure but i really rather do work at home. hahaa. okayyyyy. shall go now and be productive.

REV-IT-UP!!
Haha orientation is over already.. during the orientation it seemed like it was never going to end, but now i get the feeling that it was over really quickly.. Last night's campfire was super super hyped up, although I was really tired so i skipped a few of the mass dances :X but singing the songs together was quite fun(: and of course, cheering haha. APOLLOO won the class flag + class performance!! wooo~ later during the campfire they lit up the words "rev-it-up" so it was flaming (: too bad i didn't have a cam, it was really pretty (though hot too)

Today I went for OG outing at cineleisure. Went to watch Slumdog Millionaire, then arcade (haha we saw karl dance), then dinner at xin wang hk cafe at 5.30pm (cos ppl were hungry -.-) and then pool! mingming, soonghei, weijie and shengchao taught me and jieqi how to play haha. but still super noob at it T.T too bad only about 10 people turned up. i think that's only about half sigh. edwin was giving out free hugs but no body wanted hahaha (okay la maybe with the exception of a few random guys haha)

These days I've been spending alot of time with my OG (still) and also CT... But I realise that I haven't been spending much time with my old friends.. hui min, xiaoyang, ann, ha, mel, felisa (felisa abandoned us for _____ >:( ) Except for sitong of course, she's in my CT. I seriously seriously hope that we won't drift apart D: It's always like that.. I drifted from all my primary school friends, sec 1 and 2 friends (except hui min)....... although we were such good friends before now I can't really speak to most of them. sigh i think i just find it hard to keep friendships going...

Oh man i'm so tired! today we went to botanics and walked/run allllll the way back. at least most of it hehe. The game was so .... Our CT very shi1 bai4 lol. haha. Sigh i still miss my OG. I hope that our CT can become closer! Still don't really know most of them.. and the CT games didn't allow us to bond as much, i feel. And it's like there are already cliques/groups (made from nanyang). oh well but i guess that's always inevitable.

Haha I did 7 math qns!! yay achievement.. actually i wanted to do more but i was really really really really bored. and sitong also did 7 math qns in school and i assume she didn't do any at home. So we can continue together haha (:

First day with CT!
Basically I'm in 09s79 with a bunch of quite nice ppl and some ppl that i already know... haha. Oh man now i'm thinking of zi xin who screamed damn loudly and high wahaha. Hmm had CT games though I found it pretty boring D: Basically we just ran around the place trying to solve clues and do activities. But I guess Icebreakers are always kinda sian-ish.. but the enthusiastic level of the CT still cannot beat OG haiz. Hopefully we will be more enthusiastic as time passes! after all at first i thought OG was super sian too haha.

Hmm im in apollo! (: anw the chant we learned was so -.- and :o and :P all at the same time hahaha. Hopefully tmr will be even more fun haha. Still having CT games tmr though. Having 4 hours break too! D: zzz.

Had mass convo last night until 1.30am. But i suspected it survived past 2 am haha. Apparently they had another mass convo the previous night which lasted till 2 am so ppl were quite dead in school. But since today's a saturday, more ppl were probably staying up later. Talked about alot of funny things.. like some people's secrets lol, ...hot teachers (most particularly about one) and love confessions :O and also alot about CT allocation. I seriously hope they don't make major changes (contrary to many peoples' wishes) cos i like my CT. although the girls-guys ratio is really imbalanced, 22-4 if im not wrong. Nelson said that maybe they are trying to prevent BGR lol! Anyway there's this BCME class with 18 guys and no girls! One of my OG member is in there. So sad hahaha. Halfway i got disconnected and msn was lagging, so i went to sleep after i couldn't get back into the mass convo. I think we're a quite mixed up bunch of ppl, alot of diff personalities. But hopefully that didn't stop us from being as bonded.

Yesterday we had lectures, lectures, lectures and more OG games. Went for lunch at the high school side after the bio lecture. I'm certain I did badly for the bio diagnostic test D: Some games were pretty gross, like the one with the sliding and scissors paper stone thinggy. My shorts got wet and it was quite a sick feeling.. And i like the slope game haha. Suddenly I cannot remember all the names of the games except HC rev-it-up!. However we had to stop halfway.. cos it started drizzling a bit, then later they said there was a lightning alert. Sad. That game left me with a bruise on my wrist, which kinda hurts when i press it. Later we wanted to order in pizza for dinner, but the delivery time was 2 hours.. so we went to pizza hut @ bukit timah plaza. I think we made the whole place supa noisy. There was another OG there too, melissa's OG. But mel and jean weren't there if I'm not wrong. Much much later, Rhea came! We bought a box of 20 jellyhearts for her (sponsored by Lingjie, i think!), cos she hadn't taken dinner and we already finished up all the pizzas and chicken wings at pizza hut :O But in the end we shared the whole box.. Haha. Not bad.. Later a bunch of ppl went to play pool, but I didn't go cos it was pretty late already. Anyway I don't know how to play.. Walked back to the bus stop with a bunch of people, Jasmine, Jiaqi, Karl, Jieqi.. George...........cannot remember who else already. Anyway George told me that apparently there's a teacher also called adeline tan (though not sure about the spelling) in the high school.. and she was apparently a teacher who couldn't really teach lol. I think that's how they remember my name -.-

OG thirrrrrrrrrrrty-
HAHA today's OG games got almost everyone super duper wet and soaked... The first game was Water bomb Captain's Ball.. Hahah it was quite fun although the water bombs kept bursting/exploding -.-Haha and we won! :D then after that was balls of fury.. We commando-crawled on a mat with soapy water. And got sprayed with a hose -.- Super duper wet after that. And it was tiring!! I have weak arms. Regretted wearing track shoes.. Tmr i shall bring my sister's sandals hahaa. I didn't bring it today cos I suddenly remembered in the morning, and then my sister's sandals were damn dirty so i didn't wanna wear it. Haha. Later we went to play Soapy hockey... like table hockey haha but with soap -.- the soap was gross with hair and dirt on it. Haha we were also cleaning the canteen tables while we were playing the game haha. Next was the great cover up.. I didn't get wet at first, but later when everyone released their fingers I got wet again cos I was covering up the holes at the bottom. But mingming got drenched cos she was sitting under the opening of the pipe-with-many-holes so the water spilled from the bucket unto her haha. Last game.. human fooseball. Haha the poor ball got abused and squashed so many times.. even the outer layer of it is peeling! Haha.

Tmr's the last day with OG 30, so sad! D: and to think ~~i still don't know all my OG mates' names!! oh dear~~ after looking at the name list of my group i realised that I know all their names except 1! and i know who i don't know. so now i know who everyone else is already hahaha. Haha nvm i still have 1 more day wahaha. ^^ hopefully tmr's OG games will be even more fun and that we will win more matches hahahaha.

Just submitted my subject combi, but still not sure about 2nd choice. So still subject to changes. Haha.

Ytd was the first day of Orientation.. did Icebreakers which i thought were pretty boring.. haha anyway we played double whacko, human pretzel, dog and bone.. yup basically the games we played were quite tame unlike some other groups' hahaha. Anyway i'm in OG 30:D, with jiaqi, eva and jasmine in my OG.

Today we did Sodache first.. we learned 3 out of the 5 mass dances. Why are there so many mass dances?! o.o Haha. i realise that cheering is actually quite fun if everyone participates.. hahaha then can zi-high. I think I know pretty much of my OG now..but still some guys i don't know/can't quite remember. Oh well still have about 2 more days left with OG. Then next week will be with our CTs. My OG's quite okay.. but apparently sitong thinks the boys are rowdy haha. anyway there are 2 really tall guys in my OG.. -.- i think im only like up to less than their shoulder.

I'm kinda sick of the lectures now. Mostly useless -.- and boring zzz. though i thought the history of HCJC lecture was rather interesting though my butt was hurting from sitting on the floor for too long -.- haha. And some teachers don't know that shouting into a mike isn't really good for our ears. Whoo.. okay shall go now. Byebye!

Last day of revision lectures! ^^ I envy Ha for not coming to school today.. haha. All the subjects! Although last day of revision lectures is not necessarily a good thing.. after all there are many more lectures to come. and also it means lessons are starting soooon! D: I've made my choice for subject combi already.. just thinking about what to put for second choice! and cca choice still bothers me :/ seriously dunno what to join poof. anyone know where the list of CCAs are?

Speaking of school.. i wanna buy a planner! it seems everyone has a really pretty one (read: sitong and mel lol) so i want one. haha. but then the shop they went to is at jurong point and amk.. so far from my house :/ oh well.

Anyway new year is over! so soon D: but anyway i was getting pretty bored of it.. still have loads of new year goodies at home. was eating pineapple tarts and prawn rolls during the afternoon while watching friends. lol. haha.. i think i keep slacking my days away. and i havent touched any math tutorials ever since i stopped at partial fractions. today we did trigo.. quite okay i guess. cos i did practice during the dec holidays with the homework that they never did and never will collect. i realised that i managed to make a roundabout to my first topic- lectures. First day of school!
Haha met a few seniors and had a bunch of lectures - math and chem. I thought the ISYF thing was boring.. :x though the math lecture passed pretty fast and i pretty much enjoyed the chem lecture haha. this might sound a little weird but the teacher at least tried to keep the spirits of the group up (eg by saying really lame things -.-) (: We had 2 breaks today - both 1 hour and a half long, cos the ISYF thing ended 1 hour + early. After that was SMTP selection, didn't go though. Seems like there would be lectures for the rest of the week... and next week we probably only have 1 day of school cos of CNY and stuff. School seems pretty alright, though I still dont like waking up early haha. but this week should be fine, tmr starts at 11.30am haha. still thinking if i wanna do the tutorial qns for math :x

PHEW for HCL results yesterday. No more Chinese in JC! woohoo (:
before the results, there was this commotion around me... (mostly from jasmine hahaha). imagine if we were actually getting O level results for all the subjects! lol. anyway i think our class did pretty well, most ppl got A2 if i'm not wrong haha.

Anyway now i'm finishing up my math papers (i know..) so that i can enjoy the rest of the week (class chalet!) before going back to school next monday -.- so far the people i asked are gonna stay for the whole/ most of the chalet.. so that's good.

Happy new year!
can't believe that it's 2009 already.. so fast! it's gonna be odd writing --/--/09 on my worksheets haha. okay i shan't talk about worksheets now. thanks everyone who bothered to stay up till midnight to sms me hahaha. some ppl sent me at 11.30pm.. wonder if they couldn't be bothered to wait it up?

i guess '08 has been a pretty good year...
for me, the most memorable events:
1. graces!
2. graduation (also seemed really quick)
3. graz (i was thinking of what was memorable.. then i was like..... was graz this year? suddenly i feel very detached from choir..)
funny how these memorable events all start with "g".

things i'm looking forward to next year:
1. class chalet! really looking forward to meeting all the 402 people again.. seeing how we will be split up after that :/
2. probably JC life.. hopefully it will more fun than secondary school life....?

it seems like new year's resolutions are meant to be broken.. like who actually fulfils their new year resolution? but anyway my new year resolution.. would be to

3. keep in touch with my close friends now
and maybe run every week when i go with my parents to East Coast :/ hahaha i know that's really little (i mean running once a week) but for me.. it's enough.

Christmas:
I spent most of xmas shopping! In the morning we went to church.. so later we went for lunch at jack's place. however the food wasnt yummy cos the xmas set wasnt good. the steak was so kinda tough and the veggies were gross. i think i only liked the lobster bisque hahaha. yeah. then cos we were at marina square so my mom suggested we go shopping for new year stuff. yeah. so we went walking around a bunch of stores. yeap so i bought a dress from miss selfridge and esprit hehe. and my sister bought a dress from miss selfridge although she initially liked 2 other dresses. Yeah but the person who did the most shopping was probably my dad cos he bought 3 shirts and bunch of socks. yea but then my bro was so damn bored he kept rushing us.. so after about 2-3 hours we went back. yeah. then had party leftovers for dinner. Haha.

I'm backkkk :D finally reunited with my bed + tv + computer + internet access :D

genting + KL was fine, just supa dupa crowded. the theme park was sooooooooooooo crowded; had to queue for one hour just to get to a ride o.o so though the rides were pretty fun, the whole theme park experience was kinda spoiled by the crowd haha. anyway im just glad that this year we still managed to go out for a trip cos i already went to austria and japan this year and cost my parents a bomb heh.

......anyway where are the days going?! i was thinking about what i did during the holidays.. and i couldnt even remember where november went D: soon it will be back to school. ah well at least i will get to meet everyone almost everyday again ;)

I notice that my blog has been neglected. D: now everyone is like so super crazy about Twilight and there's all these buzz about it..? I didn't know there were so many (crazy) fans of Twilight... anyway what puzzles me is that.. how come everyone seems to have watched it already??! doesn't it open tmr? I don't know if I sound stupid by saying this.. but yeah :X I think Robert Pattinson looks quite shuai but somehow in some photos he looks ~~freak-ish~~ weird idk maybe its his super pale face :X haha.

I'm going to genting tmr in the morning for 4 days yay like finally can get out and get some fresh air zzz. The days are like so routine now.. and there's still math to handle. I kinda finished it but there're still quite a few questions i haven't and cannot be bothered to figure out.. maybe i shall ask my bro's math tuition teacher? o.o or ask some math pro to help wahaha. After coming back on sunday.. 3 more days till christmas eve yay. having family xmas party as usual so that means presents and loads of yummy food haha :D

Went to Ben & Jerry's Chunk Fest with sitong and mel ytd. I thought it would be plenty of fun (ice cream, music, games.. what's not to like?) but the weather totally killed the fun for me. D: It rained before we went, so the ground was darn muddy. My whole feet was soaked in mud and poor sitong's pretty silver shoes turned brown. Cos it had just rained, the weather turned hot and humid.. So we just queued up for the ice cream and left. The queue was 1 hour ++ long! and the ice cream wasn't even free.. though the Vermonster contest was pretty cool though it pretty much ended within a minute or so and we couldn't see anything cos we were queuing and the darn contest wasn't on stage.

Anyway, christmas is coming really soon!! Only 2 weekends more!! Wahaha. Can't wait. though i haven't bought any of the presents yet :O Sure to be broke after all the christmas shopping.. ;)

Can't be darned to blog nowadays.. looking at others.. it seems like more and more people are losing interest in blogging? Wonder if that's cos life has been really boring and monotonous (like in my case) or perhaps.. too exciting?

it's the HCL o levels tmr... although i have done some compres, read the notes.. i still don't feel very prepared. Probably cos i can't really prepare for HCL.. it's a language, after all. I'm worried cos my HCL isn't good. D: OMG just let me finish it quickly. And pls pls pls pls don't rain tmr!!! Especially after 4. Haha.

Sometimes don't you wish you could fast forward some boring parts of your life.. and go to the exciting moments? Just like an online video haha. but of course our life has to be full of ups and downs.. pooie. Sometimes i wish that i could just fast forward all the way to the end, and see what happens.. and then go back again to savour the great moments. sadly we can't, so every great moment we have, we should really grab it and hold it.. just for that few minutes, hours, days. Right now i feel like my life is some kind of boring old rerun. So dreary and boring. Perhaps tmr my life will start to start to move faster and maybe become more exciting.

You know sometimes i wish that I could really talk to someone about how i feel.. but somehow i feel that this is not possible.. because im afraid of the judgements they would make about me, how their opinion on me will change...i don't wanna jeopardize any relationship this way. sometimes i would much rather just bottle everything up and just stuff it deep down inside me, so i can forget it and pretend. i wish i could just swallow everything down and just forget about everything.

You know sometimes in a way i wish that i could really just break ties with everyone and just meet new people, new people who do not know me at all, do not have any previous judgement or opinions of me, forge new friendships, learn new things. so i wouldn't be obligated to do anything. so it won't be like.. oh you have done this this this for these few years already, if you don't continue.. what else can you do? it's these kinds of questions which really irk me, but frankly i don't even know what else i could do. but then again i couldn't just leave everything behind could i? isn't life about always trying new things, meeting new people, gaining new experience? then why do we always hang on to the past?

right now i can only hope for the best.

Hey, I've graduated.

On friday, the feeling of graduation didn't really hit me, I was still happy and well, pretty high. Did level closure in the morning (really appreciate the montage) and then did spring cleaning. Haha voila our class was clean once again as it were before we stopped doing duty.. which was a week before eoys, i think. Then had class closure.. Ms sebastian bought jelly hearts for us! It was really pretty and really nice too. Took several pictures. Sadly i didn't bring a camera D:

What i'm going to miss most is probably 402. it's probably the nicest class ever made of the nicest people.. though everyone is moving to HC together, it's still not really the same, is it? It probably won't be the same again.

Anyway, i wanna say a bigbig thanks and shoutout to the people (in no particular order) who made my nanyang life really really fun and enjoyable:

Today was.... miserable.

Imagine having chinese lessons for the whole day!! It was so brain-numbingly boring and i was like brain dead -.- Tmr we'll still have one more of such a day. Gross. Seriously couldn't process anything probably during the 3rd or 4th hour... but zhuolaoshi was nice enough to give us 1 hour of recess + half an hour of lunch = 1 and a half hour of break :D But i managed to finish highlighting the main points for the 10 summaries hehehee. but i haven't touch RGS paper yet zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. An overdose of chinese makes me sleepy and sian and tired and kills my brain cells. I wish i was good in chinese ):

HI! realised i havent blogged for quite a while now. Just too lazy to blog. -.-

Welllllll this week.. got back all the papers. Did pretty well this time round, probably the best among the past 4 years? except for chinese -.- my worst subject and the only subject i'm taking for o levels. argh. i rather get B3 for physics than chinese, frankly. $%^&*( okay anyway i'm still proud that i managed to get above 80 average for physics! after the disappointing block tests -.- I always seem to do much better in the physics exam than the block tests..

Thinking about my subject combi next year.. probably gonna take BCME. unless something happens. Looked at the university courses.. should be okay without physics, cos those with physics are like engineering which i'm really not interested in.. If i take science in university i will probably not take anything related to physics. Anyway not even sure if i will take science in university.. so i should just learn what i like in JC.

Speaking of JC... went to buy the HC uniform on wed. Ehhh it's not really nice i have to say. Yeah but anyway most uniforms aren't really nice.. (including ny uniform -.-) the material's really uncomfortable. hopefully will be better after washing? hahaa.

ANYWAY school now has been really really really really x 100000 boring with one million and one chinese things to do! And we have math to do -.- Shall not do it too late if not i will forget how to do. and i thought we wouldn't get any hwk this time round.

It's the end of EOYs! Technically it ended yesterday.. so i'm a little late. Sec 4s were probably the last to end the exams.. Only sec 4s during assembly ytd. That's sad..We get less holidays! Unlike the lower sec people.

Wellllll Math was ok. Though im sure i got the partial fractions question wrong. Bahhh. Anyway EOYs really passed quickly.. like it seemed long while I was still in the midst of the exams. But now it seems like it passed quickly huh? These 4 years also passed really quickly. Secondary school is over already? That's so damn fast! But I'm still glad that all the people I know will be going to JC with me (:

I woke up at 7.10am today. I have no idea why. Why is it that when I am allowed to wake up late, i don't? Bah. I should never open my eyes before I want to get up if not I wouldn't be able to get back to sleep...

Happy Hari Raya and Children's day!

Today I didn't really do much.. Went out for dinner cos it's my brother's birthday.
We went to Hanabi, all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant! very value for money haha. I don't know how much sashimi I gobbled up haha. yummy.

But I finally did my Physics IP 2007 Paper, and Math 2006 paper! But didn't do the 2004 and 2005 Math papers. Apparently there is something wrong with the file?
I tried to print Physics Paper 1 for Ann and there was a massive paper jam. Thrice in a row. Crazy-ness, I spend like almost half an hour just trying to print. What a waste of time.

I must chiong my Chemistry!!! It has hardly been touched )x

Today's LA test was not as tough as I thought it would be. Surprisingly Paper 1 wasn't too bad (: But Paper 2 was not so easy and I suck at summary D: Hopefully it's okay! Anyway... that will be the last of LA for the rest of my life!! HAHA. Okay but still have GP to take in JC. I have a feeling it's going to be very very similar to LA now. Haha.

Apparently, the teachers in HCI gave them hints.. So unfair! Hahaha. Sitong and I were like saying that if the HCI students do badly, they will moderate the marks so that they will do better, and we will do even better! Haha. Paper 1... the questions weren't too hard, at least so far I think the number of students doing a particular question is not so skewed.. But perhaps there will be less people doing 1 and 6? I thought the Science and Tech question was quite tough... Like, how to show the extent? Anyway I did Q3, which was "Education promotes inequality. Comment."

Now the no. of people blogging regularly have been severely reduced.. except for a few like mel. Haha. Anyway it's not as if there's a lot to blog about, since its the supposed mugging season. But no of people online still around the same.. I think that's cos most people just switch on the computer and afk.

The days are getting truly monotonous. Every single day I just trudge to school and stone in class and then go home and do some revision then slack a bit and do some more revision. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. The pressure is kinda building up, only a few more weeks to go. And they keep saying like you must get msg 3.0 if not you will get retained. Thanks for the unnecessary pressure. I'm not saying that I think I can't reach that goal, it's just that there's just this very big WHAT IF kind of feeling, cos the eoys makes up 50% of our overall mark, after all.

The other day we did a mock quiz on differentiation and I just totally gave up and screwed it up. Sigh. Oh noooo. I'm most worried for physics eoy. Why is my physics so terrible? I just can't make links between the theory and applications ):

Basically that sums up my after school activity. And YET i haven't finished. I really take too long to do trigo. Anyway i STILL haven't gotten the new spectacles yet, 'cos in the bid to adjust the spectacles so it wouldn't slant, the lens got broken. But it doesn't really matter when I get it actually.. the spectacles I'm wearing now is still around the same degree as the new one. I keep breaking my spectacles, but I still insist on wearing frameless spectacles. Haha.

I wanted to go for jab today. But being 15 min past 2.30, the whole alumni room was flooded with a long snaking queue. So i decided to take the jab tmr with the other 402 people (:. Today was a quizzz-ful day, with Chem, then Math, then supposedly Bio, but there was no time! Wahaha. So we brought the quiz back home to do (:

I find that I can't do much work now that I'm back to school.......... I rather not go to school so I have the whole morning and afternoon to study. Bleh.

have decided to take a break from studying. !!! after three days of crazy mugging + 1 day of slacking.

And (to sitong) i didn't do any math this holiday. i shall do during weekend. wahaha. finish up the stupid binomial theorem. so close to finishing whatever was given! i was studying other stuff. like bio. =.= I have decided to just do the june papers without finishing revision. arghhhhhhhhhh. why are they testing temperature for physics eoy? its sec 2 work, right??!! D: D: i can't even find the physics insights book for this stupid topic.

i didnt go for bio supplementary/extra lesson. i decided not to. was it from 9.30-11.30? i wake up at 9.30 +++. can't sleep later than that cos my dad usually buys breakfast lol and wakes me up/ asks my maid to wake me up. did i miss anything important?

At least i have the luxury of waking up late everyday (: and sleeping early. (though some ppl would rather sleep late and wake up even later).

Ehh there is no one updating their blogs now. All busy studying? I shall update today. Cos it's friday! :B

Lately I have been bush with MATH, cos Ms Yeo kindly gave us many many many examples to do so as to revise for EOYs. Okay but to be fair I kind of remembered alot of stuff after the practices. Hmmmm basically doing revision all the time during math. Math made Sitong crazy cos she kept laughing for no reason while doing Math questions, haha. :X

Finally finished doing CME presentation today! So crappy.. I bet even Li Laoshi thinks so. Apparently she keeps looking around during the presentations. But i don't blame her, cos I bet 99.99% of the groups which she is grading is doing on the school motto. How much of the school motto can one person take? The same explanation, the same thing. And nobody really bothers to make the presentation interesting, cos it is CME, after all.

And, finished Ideal School! Yay. (: Finally. I think we did okay. And the questions asked weren't really tough, though QW, Ann and Jocelyn answered all of them, i think hahah. Oops....
And XY kept asking me whether her part was okay, like whether the tone, pace blahblah =.= Apparenly XY, Sitong, Jean, and Felisa have an ideal school which is rather stressful!

On the ideal school, there is no ideal school without an ideal world. Isn't that right? So to get an ideal school, we first have to change the world. (?)

Anyway. Olympics still going on! So much hype over it. Like today, during Chinese so many people were zi-highing and cheering for Li Jiawei during her match against Zhang Yining, which she lost in the end. 401 also were very noisy until Zhuolaoshi went to shut them up. Haha. That means Li Jiawei will meet Guo Yue in the bronze medal match, if im not wrong. Lol. Artistic gymnastics ended already i think, now have rhythmic gynastics. They all look really pretty with all the props and stuff. But I don't really know much about it lah.

This weekend. Have to go out and shop for teachers' day gifts D: and birthday present for my sis! Oh dearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Both events fall on the same day. I hope I have time... I need to do homework and math. ZzZ. Nvm, shopping = destress = good (:

Had loads of fun ytd with A1s at Sentosa!
Chiling, Mel, Yee phon, Yeujia, Xenia, Addie, Seok Ting, Baoxian, Youming, Cassmain, Liangxuan, Chun Shan, Yinn Shan. (:

So we met at 1.. and went to Siloso beach by taking the monorail (i think). And Cassmain brought along a huge bag of snacks, which no one else remembered to bring. And Baoxian with her bugs bunny shirt. We entertained ourselves by playing with Chun shan's sandcastle set, and we dug this deepdeep hole till there was water! But it collasped after a few ppl jumped on it haha. And then we buried Cassmain alive.. Hahaha.Then we proceeded to play with the water and i wanted to stay dry until they decided to splash water on me.. D: I think everyone was wet at the end of the water fight haha.

Then dinner + Ben&Jerry icecream at Vivo. Really interesting finding out (embarassing) things about other ppl (:

1. Today, we had presentation for ideal school. And the two groups that presented had the same ppt design template as us!! I think that's just cos its the only nice one in the defaults of the computer in the lab. And we realised that we missed quite a bit out for the ideal school.

2. During math, Ms yeo asked us if we remembered what the cosine rule was.
"Do you remember what the cosine rule is?"
"No...."
"HUHHH??!!!"
Her reaction was so big and she screeched so loudly hahaha. Sitong and I was like O.o? I think she thought we couldn't rmb there was such a thing as cosine rule, instead of that we forgot what the equation/formula for the cosine rule was for.

Okay. Back to the ideal school.

Really terrible, terrible results. I really underperformed this time. So ___ing disappointing. I feel really nauseous thinking about having to chiong for eoys. Sian-ness. I should start early so that I can take my time.

Today was a pretty slack-ish day, started school late, though i came to school as per normal, and then math, IH, SIL, LA and class contact time. it was quite fun selecting the teachers for the teachers' day awards or whatever. hehe. but then we didnt select ____ which is a bit errrr. hahaha.

Then there was choir after school. We spent most of the time interacting with jelly's buddy from japan, while the juniors were learning the new SYF song for next year. But i still don't know her name haha. And XY exploited her by asking her to translate English phrases to Jap and making her check her dictionary. And, Jelly says that in Japan, her buddy doesn't have a phone or email.. which was a little surprising. But it makes me wonder whether all these things are really necessary. I think we are getting too dependant on these technology. Like.. I can't even do simple mental sums without checking with a calculator! But of course they do make life much more convenient. Imagine doing SIAs without google.. I will just faint and die on the spot. And no msn.. -.- Then campaigning... was normal i guess. I found out that HM and I put the exact same ppl for the exact same posts. Haha. (:

Doing "My ideal school" is no fun at all. If i could go to an ideal school, there would be no such things as presentations on "my ideal school". =.= and no homework which will take up more than 2 hours of my time. Hahahaha. And i can study subjects which I like but do not do very well in. And loads and loads of fun periods. But then that wouldn't be education for the future, would it? Cos it probably wouldn't help to prepare me for future jobs. Which are stressing. In my ideal world, everyone is happy and there are no money woes and everyone can just do what they like, eg work in the job they are interested in with little/no pay.

Sadly, there is no such thing as "ideal" in this world. And you can't please everyone i guess.

Anyway my dad is nagging at me to go to sleep. So irritating.

School is getting really blah. 42 keeps recurring again and again these few days. even my class is 402.

anyway. 402's been pretty busy doing TDC rehearsal.. hopefully we can get into the second round again! (: our performance is really.. just spastic. interesting, though. hahaha. have been spending every lunch of this week doing. tmr will be the audition already, no choir!

speaking of choir, tuesday we had ms lim's birthday party. it was really fun, except that our montage couldnt work due to technical errors =.= and there was no big chocolate cake to eat ): haha but it was interesting listening to the stories and the juniors' performance.

I'm back from austria! Now i have to readjust to the new time zone. I really like Graz cos it's so much cooler & the people are so much nicer...

Also.. We got the choir olympics GOLD with 84.00 points!<3 After months of tough work and horrible practices, we finally achieved our goal and gold. The road hasn't been easy at all... The excitement has sort of died down since the day we got our results, but still I'm happy. Though it's a bit sad, cos a few weeks ago we were still working so hard, and now it has become only part of our memories. Anyway choir will go back to normal again, when the graz group and the non-graz group can finally have practice together.

Now next week there's block tests, and I have to catch up on all the work which i have missed on the past 2 weeks. wish me luck.

Grats rioHC for getting gold for category 27 (folklore) and clinching the category champions for mixed youth! :D

Funfair today. 402 sold all the bangles! :D frankly i didnt really have much fun today, cos... i didnt play any games(except for one), and most of the food sold by the students didnt look very good. Except for the teachers' food! Hahaha. Oh, fashion rojak was ridiculously entertaining. The canteen was a mess. 402 is now the cleanest class lolzxsz. :D:D Then had choir later. :D

Going to Austria in 3 3 3 3 3 3 days. im excited. and slightly worried also. though practices have been better this week. :D so, today was the last school day, so it was the last i would see classmates before leaving. aw. nvm, i will be back in 2 weeks anyway. i hope that i can catch up with the school work!! ms yeo, dont teach too much math. i dont know how to do P&C problems, esp with restrictions!! so utterly confusing.

Well, hello. My last post was on june 2, the start of hols. so today i blog.. its the end of hols already!! Urgh.. But! I have finished most of my work, meaning 99%. Cos i still have one more "small cloud" to finish. Yay. But haven't started studying yet.. I realise that putting my schedule down on paper is 10000X easier than actually following them.. Unless the homework is easy, otherwise (as I have done) i would procrastinate till.. like the last week.

Going to Graz in like...2 weeks ++. Of course i havent just realised that... The whole hols have been centred over.. choir + holiday homework. lol... what have i done which is even holiday-ish... oh yeah i went to watch kungfu panda, which was a laugh and a half. and i bought the enchanted dvd.. which i watched twice in 2 consecutive days. zzhaha.

i have just wasted the weekends away doing nothing. the GSS is really tempting, especially going to VivoCity and such. lol

i was thinking about the discussion we had during choir ytd. i really envy the juniors now, for being able to be such good friends and so open with their seniors. its a little sad that i didnt really get to know my seniors really well. oh well. and we were saying like ____ and ____ were intimidating, especially during vocal training and stuff. haha.

today's morning sabbaticals was spent watching ruanlingyu!! what a waste of time, me and yunting watched it before!! argh. and then we spent the afternoon sabbaticals analysing water ._. haha. and to sam's and my surprise, ms chee actually remembered teaching us in sec 1! and she remembered our class somemore. lol.

It's sabbs week! yay (: although it's not like my sabb courses are superuberduper nice, but they are okay lah. although its sad that we don't have nice sabbs like the other levels. ah well. today, we went to ~~sunrise~~ sunset way stream to collect water samples from the stream, and steph accidentally threw the bucket into the water hahaha so the poor teachers had to fish into the pond to get it hehe. we finished early anyway.

last week's concert wasn't spectecular, but yes, what's done is done. now we can look forward to graz! and thx to ann and jiawen and yunting for coming!! the flower is still thriving, but the poor helium balloon is sorta dead hahaa. though it hasn't really deflated, but the helium all escaped. sad. strangely, i dont feel sad that my last concert is over. why?

Choir concert in.. 4 days! Jiayou all, especially for the Graz pieces! :D Section lunch on saturday was really fun, with the crazy noisy sec 1s and all. Though it would have been better if more ppl came. Anyway, I have been posted to japan for eoys! :D yay. with hui min, and ann. and also quite a lot of ppl in class.

This weekend sort of just zoomed past, and still have much work undone! i better start doing my Bio SIA product and LA SIA :x what counts as a political issue? And my file is still very unpacked, very very heavy.

Oh yeah, i haven't told Jean how to upload songs onto her blog! On account that I'm appearing offline these days, especially at night. Cos chatting is keeping me up too late :x

today was a zzzzz day. haha. soccer was tiring, and hot. and that stupid dance haha lame la.

first day, we had make up course, which was fun haha, and slack lah. they taught us the skincare regime and stuff like that, but its too impractical, how to do all that everyday! (im a lazy person at taking care of my skin) anyway, it was still fun, and i learned to curl my eyelashes.

then lunch, then hosting and emceeing, boring course. i didnt really like the speaker, boring, and its ironic how he was supposed to teach us to be interesting and good speakers and emcees. okay maybe i should give him some credit... he taught us to be sincere and EARNEST speakers haha

then malay extravaganza! i ate with my hands :D though actually i could have used the spoon meant for the dessert. and our table didnt host anyone! so we didnt get to host guests properly, haha. anyway it was an experience eating with hands bah. then had mass dance, which wasnt really well received at first, but it turned out to be quite fun learning the malay dances, though i dont remember them now.

then sleep, wake up, breakfast, then indoor games! the games were fun, and i think 402 did well! yay. we got third prize (i think). and the balloon game was violent, but it was interesting looking at the game after being eliminated.

then a course on deportment, how to sit, how to eat (gracefully), how to walk, how to recognize cutlery. haha it was quite okay i guess, though i didnt really use it in the end for the dinner.
so dinner, had appetizer which wasnt good for me, cos i hated the salad and the bland spaghetti. then was soup and bread, and a main course which was grilled chicken (i think) and some brocolli which i didnt eat. and then was dessert! i liked the cheesecake haha it was yummy.

class parade, i think we did fine? haha. okay then take photos until time to go back to chalet.
next day, wake up, eat breakfast, then grand finale which was a performance by each class. haha, i sort of forgot my lines and made it up along the way. anyway, i thought it was fine(: and 402 was voted most gracious class, along with 408 haha

okay, then go home.

after that i went for a disgusting math talk which was utterly confusing. oh well, all for the sake of math SIA. so sad it was on the day after camp, feeling sian-ed out haha. then go home, and finally sleep. i woke up at 11am today, which is quite late by my standards.

anyway, my china buddy finallly replied my email after one month ++! yay. :D

what is really irritating about chem hwk, is that it is never taught before we hand it up. if we are expected to research on every single ws we do, then whats the point of having you as a teacher? ...

okay never mind. anyway, its graces tmr! (: yay. and i'll be bunking with ann, jessica and clara, which is good, cos i was wondering if we would get split up, as yunting was supposedly bunking with me, ann and jessica. i hope it'll be all fun.

so, im trying to finish up allllll my hwk (impossible la, but at least most of those which needs to be handed up) and then get on with packing, which i havent actually started on yet.. hm. oh well, i shall continue with my chem hwk.

hmmm today during ms van dijk told us about the escape of a terrorist in Singapore.. i never knew about all these plots and stuff till i went home to read the papers o.o, i didnt know there were even JI supporters in S'pore. isn't he a crafty person, being able to escape so many times from jail? probably because 911 happened when i was p3 so my memory of 911 is very very vague.. though i still do remember the video on the news where they showed the crashing of the plane into the buildings. being p3, i didnt really think much of the situation at that time.

i wonder what would happen, now that he is on the loose?

anyway today's lessons were b.o.r.i.n.g, as thursday lessons always are, with three science classes and math. and LA and IH which were ok. i think i enjoy arts subject better, though obviously i cant really score. SRQ is so stressful and confusing, i can't think fast enough! sigh.
IH was ok, less interesting as usual, cos we had to do research stuff. well at least we had aircon.

anyway the choosing for the career conference thing is so stupid, how can they just anyhow reallocate.. i mean the point for this is to attend the talk which interests you, not just to make up the numbers for whatever reasons. ah well, i guess if it happens, it happens.

can't wait for chinese and physics SIA to end, and CME speech which is utterly pointless and just so politically correct ~~crap~~ stuff. not like it has any impact at all, sian i better start doing it properly.

tmr is the unofficial last day of the term! yay. then after one week of slacking, theres one week of mugging, then one week of block tests. nice.

well anyway the festivities are sorta over.
for me anyway, cos i have few relatives. anyway it was a break, and any kind of break is good.(:

though i have to finish up my hwk soon. though cny did give me motivation to finish up most of my work so that i can relax properly. breaks are good, they give you a break (duh) and also motivate you to finish your work. well, it works for me anyway. cny wasnt really fun, i guess it gets less and less fun every year. it was fun playing with my cousins when we were still young (not that im not young -.-), but now it just seems weird and awkward.

anyway, went to watch 27 dresses ytd. good ol' romantic comedy. predictable, but still nice.

im just going to relax and enjoy the next 2 days. maybe watch another movie? heh.

i like cny.

its the time when its okay to stuff your face with the new year goodies the whole day while visiting (which is a good thing because i need to gain weight, though overeating may not be too good). its okay to be tacky and cheena. after all, its chinese (cheena) new year haha. so far i havent seen any cny deco which is non-cheena-ish, but anyway it adds to the festivities.

and no buggy questions for me cos im still too young eg when are you getting married etctetc which is one main complain for many. anyway i dont even think my relatives even ask.

more importantly, cny is a refreshing break from school.

cny performance is up next week. the usual performance i guess, though the soloist is just too piercing for my liking. esp with the mike oh dear. i hope nobody in the audience has to cover her/his ears. anyway being sec 4 this year, its our turn to walk down the stage etcetc maybe throw sweets i dunno.

okay. anyway cny brings along homework which is no good. because either the teacher gives you hwk to hand in after cny (which is a long break, btw), or to hand in before cny, which is worse, so the teacher can mark during cny.

whatever.. i dont even know why im blabbering about cny when i can actually go and catch some sleep. which im going to do now. g'night.

today's chem lab was retarded -- imagine forgetting to put in the phenolphthalein -- twice!

anyway i kinda forgot my chem lab stuff... forgot the procedures. though the chem prac paper helped.

zz LA holiday homework sounds like IH. (regarding the war and conflict) it sounds like the IH seminar that we did! oh well.. at least i can use some of the research! the R & R thing doesnt seem easy, must read more newspaper.. though im not too sure of interesting debatable topics. must read forum!! oh well good luck to me o.o i must lay off the computer games zz

back from shanghai (:
the weather here is more humid, no more dry skin! and the sky is cleaner, not hazy and dark. and no more smokers who are perpetually everywhere.
but the cool weather in shanghai was nice.

now i feel that i have just come back from a holiday. okay so it was supposed to be a school attachment thing but at least i didnt have any commitments there! now its back to holiday homework and sia stuff. oh well. it was fun with all the ppl there, and i have made new friends, both ny and fudan. had much fun there(: i enjoyed tle, especially the scavenger hunt, and the shopping though i didnt buy alot of stuff, i should have bought more stuff la! but one thing about the shopping culture was that we got to bargain alot so yeah. some storeowners were quite aggressive i guess.

i liked hangzhou cos the scenery was nice and the air was generally cleaner, and there were less traffic jams! also the hotel was nice though we didnt get to be on the same level as the other 302 ppl but it was okay la. haha.

feeling laaaazy now. slacking the deepavali holiday away. watched stardust on the plane(:

i just finished doing my IH SBQ. which took 1h 15 minutes. that's pretty good, considering i had many distractions (hello i was on the net) and blah blah things. (though its a good 30 minutes more than the time taken to do it during the exam). speaking of which, its stupid not to return us our paper cos we would just end up doing the same standard of work again.

oh well.
i will be flying off to shanghai on thurs!
frankly, im more worried than excited.
im worried i will fall sick! that the food will suck! that i cannot communicate with them! that i will bunk with someone i dont know! that blahblahblah.
zzz we are so unprepared for the perfomances! (although liwenjuan laoshi wasnt pissed off which i thought she was lol)

hi everyone.. i got back almost all my papers, save for bio and physics.
heh. my chinese sucks la! but the other subjects are okay.
thanks to moderation, my ih and la are okay! [a nice 14% increase for ih!] but my chinese cannot be saved la.. even when they relook at the compos and stuff.

today's briefing on china was quite exciting, and im kind of looking forward to the TLE thing, but i dunno whether its just a good side i have seen. and chinese sia issued today! i think the teachers have a problem with us.. just end of exams and all the homework coming! D:
and i guess thats just the beginning.

ah well..
